Wintenic Earns Australian AS 2208:2023 Safety Glass Certification

We are proud to announce that Wintenic has successfully achieved the AS 2208:2023 Safety Glazing Materials in Buildings certification in Australia. This milestone reflects our unwavering commitment to delivering safe, high-quality glass products that meet the most demanding international standards.

The AS 2208:2023 certification is one of Australia’s mandatory standards for safety glazing, covering stringent tests on impact resistance, fragment safety, optical clarity, and long-term durability. Passing this certification demonstrates the strength of our advanced tempered, laminated, and insulated glass production lines, as well as our strict quality control and traceability systems.

With AS 2208:2023 now certified, Wintenic is also actively pursuing the AS 2047 certification for aluminum doors and windows. Once complete, we will offer a full range of internationally recognized solutions for both safety glass and high-performance window and door systems, serving premium residential, commercial, and public building projects across Australia and beyond.
