Aluminium Window Manufacturers in Italy: Supplier References and Buying Guide

Draft / Preview · Revised 19 October 2026

Comparing aluminium window manufacturers in Italy starts with a practical question: are you buying finished windows, or choosing a system that another company will fabricate? The answer changes what you need to check before requesting a quotation.

This guide provides a small, non-ranked set of supplier references and a checklist for distributors and project buyers. It is not a top-ten list, an endorsement or a comparison of tested product performance.

WINTENIC is a manufacturer based in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China. The Italian companies below are separate supplier references.

Italian supplier references to investigate

METRA Building

METRA Building’s official product catalogue includes aluminium casement and sliding window and door systems. Use its current catalogue to identify the system relevant to your project, then ask who will fabricate and supply the finished units. View METRA Building’s product catalogue.

Ponzio

Ponzio’s official website presents aluminium windows and doors. Its range can be a starting point for a supplier enquiry, but the proposed product, fabricator and commercial scope still need confirmation for your order. Visit Ponzio’s official website.

These references are selected for their identifiable official product information, not market share, quality ranking or price. They are not an exhaustive directory. WINTENIC does not claim an affiliation with either company.

Separate the system from the finished window

A system description alone does not establish the complete specification of the windows in your quotation. Ask the proposed supplier to identify the system, the fabricator and the components included in the finished unit.

  • Are you being quoted finished glazed units, unglazed frames or profiles and components?
  • Which opening arrangement and dimensions are included?
  • Who confirms glass, hardware, drainage details and the connection to the building?
  • Which documents relate to the exact product and configuration being offered?

Prepare a specification before comparing prices

Give each supplier the same window schedule. Include opening sizes, quantities, opening directions, project destination and drawings. State whether the project requires thermal-break construction and identify any glass, acoustic, solar-control or appearance requirements for review.

Ask for the proposed glass build-up, hardware, colour and surface finish in writing. If insect mesh or built-in blinds are needed, request a compatibility check with the selected window system. A feature shown in a general catalogue should not be assumed to be included in every quotation.

Review evidence at product level

Request the documents relevant to the proposed configuration and your project requirements. Check that product names and configurations in a certificate or report match the quotation. Do not transfer a glass performance figure to a complete window, or treat a report for one system as evidence for every product in a supplier’s range.

Confirm project-specific acceptance requirements with the responsible project parties before ordering. This guide does not establish that any listed product satisfies a particular building’s requirements.

Compare the complete order scope

Review sample arrangements, minimum order requirements, packing, delivery responsibilities and the production schedule alongside price. Ask how drawing changes will be recorded and approved. Obtain order-specific terms instead of relying on general claims about low prices, standard lead times or universal warranties.

Considering a manufacturing partner in China?

WINTENIC is based in Zhangjiagang, Jiangsu, China, not Italy. Zhangjiagang Wintenic Window and Door Co., Ltd. manufactures aluminium windows, doors and architectural glass, with its own factory for windows and doors and a separate glass factory. We supply finished windows and doors and glass for separate orders. Configurations and suitability are reviewed for the selected system and project.

Start with Sliding Windows or Casement Windows, and review Architectural Glass where glazing is part of your enquiry. These are WINTENIC products, not the Italian systems mentioned above.

Discuss your window requirements

Share your schedule, quantities, opening layouts, preferred configuration and delivery destination. For repeat supply, include your expected product mix and sample requirements so that the commercial and technical scope can be discussed.
